Yonoton strengthens its core-team with the appointment of Olli Tapola as an Account Director.
Tapola, 47, has worked among other positions as a Managing Director of Acrelec Nordic & Baltic, a global technology company focusing on the restaurant and retail business.
Tell us little bit about your background?
During the past 20 years I have established three successful companies which I have managed as Director. My previous project was Acrelec which we established 8 years ago in Finland. I was looking after the Nordics and the Baltics for 6 years. My last assignment at Acrelec was Global Drive-Thru Director where some interesting development was started with large customers.
I am eager to work with modern technology helping people to order smart and easy way. Development at Yonoton is continuous and cool products will be released soon.
Yonoton’s future insights?
Being part of talented and innovative team gives me lot of new energy. I know some of the customers already, so it’s exciting to work with them again.
Experience from scaleups?
Yes, Acrelec is a good example.
Yonoton is growing rapidly – expectations?
Yonoton will grow rapidly next year in Finland but other markets as well. Year after even more… In 2020 customer behavior changed for good and services what Yonoton is offering, will be needed more and more in future.
Name one achievement that you are most proud of
Before starting at Yonoton winning a large POS RFP, where nobody else than ourselves believed our chances.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I don’t have lot of spare time, but I like to walk in nature and watch some sports on tv. I like the most F1 and Ice Hockey.
